Web Work Order

is a web-based application that helps you streamline your work order processing from the initial request to completion of the work. You can record work orders and assign work to staff. Staff can check on-line to see what work has been assigned and they can update information about work orders and the stages of completion. Staff or clients can use the web to submit orders, check information on the work, such as, the expected due date/time, whether the job is complete, and other data.

Version 3 adds a staff page to display the staff status and provide individual notes interactively. Two mouse clicks will set your status to one available in a list. You may also choose to type your status remark. The administrator can edit the list to suit your needs. Use the notepad column to pass on last minute instructions to a staff member or have them provide feedback. It can also serve as a web blackboard to communicate and collaborate.

You can tailor the way users interact with the program by assigning each user to a group which identifies the fields and pages they can see or update. This role-based user interface provides everything needed and eliminates inappropriate choices. The program comes with five standard groups (Client, Restricted Client, Staff, Restricted Staff, Manager) that can be modified to meet your needs. You can add new groups or remove existing ones.

1. Client Work Orders by Priority
2. Client Work Orders by Status
3. Staff Workload and Work Status
4. Work Orders by Completion Date
5. Completed Work Orders
6. Overdue Work Orders

The quick and efficient search feature allows you to easily find, filter and sort work orders. For example, to display work orders that are past their due date for completion, pick "late" in the Due date list and click on the Go button. You can select the field to be searched from one of: Work Order Number, Summary description, Detailed description, Client name or Staff name. The options for matching criteria are: starting with, containing, ending with, exactly matching or not containing.

Web Work Order can be restricted for use on your internal network or it can used over the web. As a web browser-based application, it requires only a single installation on your server and only one application to maintain. Most likely your customers are already using the web to do on-line banking and other activities. They will enjoy the immediate response of Web Work Order rather than waiting in a phone queue.

As a web application, users can read, search, write, and update work orders from any location via the internet, or via your intranet. The top menu puts all functions one click away.
